Tale Concept Update


Well, @TimRuswick`s Twitch stream taught me last week that the game, even when I finish my game, it won't be fun. Even though the mechanics and everything are solid, it seemed like a Terraria clone.

So I took all the information, sat down and started connecting dots between all the games I have taken something from. Platformer mechanics and Art style from Super Mario, gore & fast pace from Super Meat Boy and Sandbox & Music from Minecraft. Until I figured that I could make it into a Fast paced Platformer with completely destructible environments.

So I deleted my 550 events from Construct 3 and started from scratch, puting metadata on my Sounds, Music and Art and completely cleaning up the project, even made a new Start Menu, which I will change later on again. Since then, I worked the entire week literally day & night and slept maybe 4-6 hours tops per day, and am still doing so and will continue until the game is good enough.

Now the intro of the game is somewhat done and game is close to bugless since I was polishing it an entire day. And I actually enjoy playing it, even though I am horrible at my own game x)
